Why I Love to Workout Outdoors

Being outdoors is something that I have always loved, because I grew up spending my weekends walking with my family, exploring, camping and doing a lot of cross country running. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved the adventure of exploring new places – so now I’m older I love spending my time outdoors in nature whenever I can. So for the past few months, I figured why not combine my two favourite things – nature and fitness. As a result, I’ve started taking my workout outdoors a little more and included more runs, outdoor hill sprints, circuits and yoga flows into my training schedule. I love how it makes me feel, and I wanted to share why I loved it so much, so you guys can try it too!

Finding Your Motivation

Something that I get asked a lot is how I stay so motivated all year round? When you are looking to achieve a fitness goal, or any goal for that matter –  I believe that motivation truly is key. Without motivation, we seem to lose the passion, fire and drive and ultimately give up before we achieve the end results. I always say that the greatest power to achieve something comes from within our mind, because I truly believe that if we deep down believe we can – we will achieve it, simple as that.
